CRF450R
The CRF450R has become a dominant presence in the world of off-road where it continues to bring even the toughest competition to its knees across a range of disciplines. Relentlessly striving for more speed, more control, more reliability, more power and more performance, Honda R&D continues to develop the package into a class leader. The lightest stock machine in its class, it carries these characteristics into motocross race trim, combining light weight and effortless manoeuvrability with useable power delivery. Its slim proportions feature finely-honed aerodynamics for bullet-like aerial projection, and a low centre of gravity for greater control in the air. Inertia is minimised and torque is maximised throughout the rev range to provide race winning performance in all conditions.
For 2013 Honda released a new CRF450R model, designed from the ground up. With the focus on mass centralisation in the 'scrub generation,' to improve manoeuvrability, cornering and traction. The factory version of the machine is shod with Dunlop tyres, and Showa's SFF Air TAC suspension, with the latest developments being available to the team. In addition to this the team has uprated different areas of the machine with Termignoni exhausts, based on the twin pipe design from Honda to improve mass centralisation, Hinson clutches and many more finer details. The bike is continuously being tested, developed and refined with Honda's R&D department in Japan with parts that may form part of the future technologies in production machines.
