Famous Swedish Cross-Country Skier Coaches At Honda Xtreme Academy Pre-Season Training

The Honda Xtreme Academy in Sweden enjoyed another fantastic annual pre-season training event in Tibro last week, with tuition from famous Ski and TV star Gunde Svan, who attended as the star coach for the young riders.

 

Svan is a seven time World Champion, has an unbelievable four Olympic Gold Medals to his name, and is classed as one of the greatest skiers of all time. The cross-country ace was brought in to pass on his work ethic as well as his huge training and dietry knowledge to help educate the youngsters in what is needed to achieve the highest results as they prepare for the forthcoming race season.

 

The Honda riders, who will compete in this year’s Swedish nationals while also contesting the Honda Xtreme Academy championship, already have a head start on their competitors with these specialist camps that are arranged to help them progress, as Honda gives something back at the grass roots level of the sport.
